Container Modifications

If you can dream it we can build it, our containers come with a variety of different modifications that can be added to our standard and refrigerated containers.

Modified Shipping Doors

Most of our containers have modified shipping doors, which make opening and closing heavy doors much easier which is reat for frequent access.

Internal Entrapment Alarms

All of our reefer containers have internal entrapment alarms incase there is a situation where personal get stuck inside the container they can alert people they are stuck.

Lock boxes

Conceals your padlock in a high-grade, non-corrosive steel housing for added protection against theft and vandalism.

Shelving

Can be installed before or after delivery, with configurations for all container sizes and storage requirements.

Lighting and electrics

We install power points, lighting, switchboards, air conditioning units and phone/data outlets to give you more functionality.

Container painting

Choose from stock colours or a custom design. Splash your brand on a container while protecting against the elements.

Ramps

Heavy-duty ramps with self-levelling lips allow safe and efficient forklift access to reduce manual handling.

Personal access (PA) doors

Available for both standard and refrigerated containers, PA doors make access easier without needing to open the main cargo doors.

Custom Built Containers

Refrigerated containers

We can customise 10ft, 20ft and 40ft refrigerated containers, including high cube units. New containers can be built with different door configurations and internal layouts. We can also retrofit shelving, PA doors, lighting, power points and door curtains to hired and second-hand refrigerated containers.

Standard ‘dry’ containers

Our 10ft, 20ft and 40ft standard sea containers and high cube variants are used in all kinds of innovative ways. From stackable storage to transportable offices, pop-up cafés, backyard workshops, mining, defence and much more, shipping containers are highly customisable. Whether you need shelving, access doors, insulation, upgrades for storage, through to electrical fit-out, painting, AC units or custom fabrication and installations for a purpose-built space, we can help.

Delivery and placement

We deliver containers Australia-wide and can arrange international shipping through our global logistics partners. There are three delivery options depending on your site:

• Tilt tray: Requires 15m of clear space in front of the placement area.
• Side loader: Suitable for 20ft and 40ft containers up to 30,000kg. Requires 6x16m space with at least 4.5m of clearance.
• Hiab crane: Only available for 20ft containers and requires a 5x10m clear space.

Before delivery, make sure access is clear and your site has a flat, solid, well-drained surface with no overhead obstructions.

Lead times

We can typically deliver minor projects and modifications within a few days, or even the next day in WA and SA metro areas. Lead times for custom-built containers and modifications will vary depending on the container type and the complexity of the project.

Accessories on hire containers

There are limited modifications you can have on leased containers, however most of our units come with modified shipping doors for easy access, lighting and internal entrapment alarms/bells.

We also have specialty units that have more unique modifications so you may not need to purchase a container to get a unit that meets your requirements. Talk to our team to spec the right accessories for your hire period.

Emergency and after-sales support

We provide 24/7 breakdown and emergency support for hired containers in all Australian metro areas, including refrigerated, DNV and dangerous goods containers. Emergency contact information will be provided at the time of booking.
