We have 40ft refrigerated containers for sale in three configurations:

• General purpose (GP): the standard 40ft reefer for chilled and frozen storage.
• High cube (HC): 300mm taller internally, giving you more usable volume in the same footprint.
• Custom build: Built to your specifications, with fit-out options including shelving, lighting, ramps and additional doors.

Need to store pallets side by side? Our 40ft and 20ft high cube pallet wide containers are designed specifically to fit two rows of Australian standard pallets (1,165mm x 1,165mm), with flat flooring and flush-mounted lighting for easy forklift access.

Hire or purchase

All our 40ft containers are available for hire or purchase. We also have second-hand 40ft refrigerated containers for sale, including high cube and pallet wide units.

Delivery and setup

We deliver 40ft refrigerated containers Australia-wide. Rapid next-day delivery may be possible in Western Australian and South Australian metro areas, and we can arrange international shipping. Contact us on 0475 000 560 or at sales@climatight.com.au to confirm availability and book, or to get a quote for international delivery.

Within Australia, we have two delivery methods for 40ft containers depending on your site:

• Tilt tray: Slides the container on and off from the rear of the truck. Requires 15m of clear space in front of the placement area.
• Side loader: Loads from the driver’s side. Requires 6m wide × 16m long × 4.5m high clearance. Capable of lifting up to 30,000kg under permit.

Before delivery, make sure your site has a flat, solid, well-drained surface with no overhead obstructions.

Power

40ft refrigerated containers run on three-phase power at 380/460V, 32A, with a 4 or 5 Pin Wilco plug. You’ll need three-phase power with a 32A plug within 10m of where the container will sit.

Safety

The food-grade stainless steel interior is easy to clean and suited to direct food contact, making it practical for supermarkets, caterers, food producers and pharmaceutical operators. Each unit includes an internal emergency alarm and door release for operator safety.

Maintenance and breakdowns

All Climatight refrigerated containers are inspected prior to delivery and backed by 24/7 emergency breakdown support in Australian metro areas. Emergency contact information will be provided at the time of booking or purchase.

Custom modifications
