• General purpose (GP): The standard 20ft reefer for chilled and frozen storage.
• High cube (HC): 300mm taller internally, giving you more usable volume in the same footprint.
• Custom build: Built to your specifications, with fit-out options including shelving, lighting, ramps, and additional doors.

Need to store pallets? Our 20ft and 40ft high cube pallet-wide containers are specifically designed to fit two rows of Australian CHEP pallets (1,165mm × 1,165mm), with flat flooring and flush-mounted lighting for easy forklift access.

We have 20ft refrigerated containers for sale and hire. Our range also includes second-hand refrigerated containers, including 10ft, 20ft and 40ft, high cube, and pallet-wide containers.

Delivery and setup

We deliver 20ft refrigerated containers Australia-wide and can arrange international shipping. Rapid next-day delivery may be possible in Western Australian and South Australian metro areas. Within Australia, we offer three delivery methods depending on your site:

• Tilt tray: Slides the container on and off from the rear of the truck. Requires 15m of clear space in front of the placement area.
• Side loader: Loads from the driver’s side. Requires a 6x16m long area with 4.5m clearance. Capable of transporting 20ft containers and lifting up to 30,000kg under permit.
• Hiab crane: Lifts and places the container with precision. Requires 5x10m of clear space, and can lift up to 5,600kg to a 4m reach.

Before delivery, make sure your site has a flat, solid, well-drained surface with no overhead obstructions. You’ll also need three-phase power with a 32A plug within 10m of where the container will sit.

Power

20ft refrigerated sea containers run on three-phase power. Please confirm power availability before delivery, and contact us if you require additional extension leads or support with power.

Temperature control

The temperature is thermostatically controlled. Once set, it holds your target temperature without manual intervention. The unit can operate as a chiller or a freezer, depending on your requirements.

Maintenance and breakdowns

All Climatight refrigerated containers are inspected prior to delivery and backed by 24/7 emergency breakdown support in Australian metro areas. Emergency breakdown contact information will be provided at the time of booking or purchasing.

Custom modifications

If you need the unit modified before it arrives on site, we handle that in-house. Options include painting, shelving, ramps, lighting, additional doors and ventilation, through to full custom fit-outs. Talk to us about what your operation needs and we’ll quote accordingly.
